The rainforest is the foundation of life on Earth; its trees provide us with the air we breathe. Alianza Amazonica e.V., based in Germany, was founded to protect this precious ecosystem and its indigenous peoples. Together with the Shipibo embassy in Peru, we are launching reforestation projects based on agroforestry concepts that promote biodiversity and climate protection. The aim is to support the indigenous peoples, protect their territories and preserve their cultural heritage. We want to re-establish them as forest guardians to protect the precious rainforest and the Earth’s green lungs.
