The Amazonian Indigenous Embassy supports the Shipibo-Konibo Indigenous peoples and other native communities of the Ucayali region in the Peruvian Amazon.
The Vision of the Embassy
Our vision is to strengthen the role of Indigenous peoples as guardians of the Amazon rainforest by promoting the protection of the tropical forest and the global climate. We also seek to preserve and share their cultural heritage and ancestral knowledge of traditional medicine, contribute to improving their quality of life, promote access to education, healthcare, and security, and foster intercultural exchange through sustainable ecotourism initiatives.

We promote the restoration and protection of ancestral territories in order to support the reforestation of the Amazon rainforest and contribute to the preservation of global climate balance.
We preserve and promote the cultural heritage of the Shipibo-Konibo people and other Indigenous communities, including their artistic and musical expressions, traditions, and customs.
We work to revitalize traditional Amazonian medicine and share ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants and healing practices, contributing to its international recognition and preservation.

The AMBASSADOR
Roger Mokanranko Bardales has dedicated his life to strengthening his Indigenous community by promoting initiatives aimed at overcoming poverty, protecting the Amazon rainforest, and contributing to the preservation of the global climate.
As a practitioner of traditional Amazonian medicine, he spent more than two decades living in the rainforest, developing a profound connection with nature, medicinal plants, and the ancestral knowledge of his people. Through his wisdom and experience in traditional healing practices, he has traveled to more than 25 countries, sharing ancestral Amazonian medicine and supporting people from around the world in processes of well-being and healing.
Driven by a deep commitment to protecting the rainforest, preserving Indigenous culture, and promoting ancestral medicine, Roger Mokanranko Bardales has established himself as an important international representative of the Indigenous peoples of the Amazon.
Over the past ten years, his experience, leadership, and international network have enabled him to build a significant presence and influence in social, cultural, and political spheres related to the defense of Indigenous rights and environmental conservation.
