The Indigenous Amazonian Embassy works to protect Indigenous peoples, their ancestral territories, and the Amazon rainforest.
We promote cultural preservation, land rights, education, health, and sustainable development in close cooperation with local and international partners.
Our goal is to strengthen Indigenous self-determination while building bridges between ancestral knowledge and modern solutions.
About the Founder
Roger Mokanranko Bardales is an Indigenous leader, social entrepreneur, and cultural ambassador of the Shipibo-Konibo people of the Peruvian Amazon.
Born in 1983 in a traditional Indigenous community in the Amazon region, he grew up deeply connected to nature, the values of his people, and ancestral systems of knowledge passed down from generation to generation. Recognized as a Banco and Muraya within the Amazonian spiritual tradition, he has dedicated his life to preserving traditional medicine, strengthening Indigenous cultural identity, and defending the rights of Indigenous peoples.
Since 2007, he has brought Amazonian Indigenous wisdom and worldview to international stages, promoting intercultural dialogue and building alliances in Europe, the United States, and Peru.
In 2023, he was appointed Indigenous Ambassador of the Ucayali region, a recognition that highlights his career and commitment to the representation, strengthening, and international visibility of Amazonian Indigenous peoples.

We envision a future where Indigenous peoples live with dignity, autonomy, and cultural continuity, while actively contributing to global solutions for climate, biodiversity, and social balance.
Asháninka Programme
A new international initiative aims to support 35 Asháninka communities in the Yuruá District on the Peru–Brazil border by improving healthcare, education, infrastructure, and sustainable agriculture. At the same time, the project will promote the protection of the Amazon rainforest and preserve Indigenous ancestral knowledge.
Led by the Embassy of the Indigenous Peoples of Ucayali together with international partners, the initiative recognizes the Asháninka as vital guardians of the forest and seeks to create a future where both local communities and the Amazon ecosystem can thrive.
First Conference on Traditional Medicine and Indigenous Ancestral Knowledge
The Amazon Indigenous Embassy contributed to the organization of the first regional conference on Amazonian traditional medicine and ancestral knowledge, bringing together health and cultural institutions with Indigenous peoples.
The meeting sought to strengthen intercultural dialogue between the public health system and the ancestral healing worldview of Amazonian Indigenous peoples.
It also aimed to improve healthcare for Indigenous communities in the face of persistent issues such as discrimination, malnutrition, and high rates of infectious diseases and infant mortality.
CCNN Santa Martha de Pucallpa - Model Community
The urban Shipibo-Konibo community CCNN Santa Martha in Pucallpa is being developed as an ecological and cultural model community.
